My experience in the publishing and printing industry also includes product packaging design. This type of work has mostly relied in the usage of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to create visually appealing and functional packaging solutions.
As a product packaging designer, and more specifically as one of my activities at NatureCity, my responsibilities revolve around designing labels, boxes, and product samplers and sticks. These designs must not only capture the essence of the brand and product but also adhere to strict specifications and printing-dies outlined by the printer.
This includes understanding the printing techniques, color profiles, bleed and trim settings, and file formats required by the specific printer. This ensures that the packaging is both visually appealing and structurally sound, meeting the functional requirements for product storage, shipping, and display.
